Mentors and Mentees – being guided

I love it when I receive great emails with exactly what I would like to say – but they said it so eloquently that all I have to do is share. Today I received such a message.

On the way to success, which path are you taking:

‘The Silver-Platter – handed to you success or

The Inch-by-Inch Path.
At the other end of the spectrum, we have people who feel they must battle and scrape their way to success. Maybe they were told that they don’t deserve success. Maybe their family or friends said:
“Who do you think you are–you think you’re better than us?” It’s almost like these people NEED to show deep battle scars if they succeed. Then they can say “Hey, I paid the worst of prices for where I got!” I guess it’s good that they succeed, but I doubt they’ll ever enjoy their success.’

This is the one I most relate to… yes, I took the inch-by-inch road less traveled, the back roads, the unpaved route…

The Stepping-Stone Path.
It’s for those of us who weren’t handed success on a silver platter. It’s also for those of us who are not trying to make some statement about how many pints of blood we lost on the way to our goals.

This is the path for people who know that success will take some work, but we want to use every common-sense advantage we can along the way.

We’re very interested in becoming successful, but have no interest in making success harder than it needs to be.”

As we continue down the path, chosen and traveled, are you traveling alone or have you found your mentors to help guide the way.

With over thirty years of road trips I have a unique perspective about how to take the journey, where to start, how to proceed, what to share and how to guide. You, yes YOU are the reason I have taken this journey. For being able to help others along the way is my passion and my purpose. You don’t have to do it alone you know.

I am here, with guidance, assistance, listening, supporting and helping pave the way for the road you choose. You will find the support you desire and deserve.

My coaching is personal, still one-on-one and at very affordable prices. In fact, you can choose your own rate. I know that we often need to be flexible and giving especially in times like these.

If you are searching for your way, traveling without a map and want a guide, you have come to the right place.

I am here, for you.
Veronica,

…”Always true, under all circumstances, throughout history”

The four most profound words, always true, under all circumstances, throughout history, are “this too, shall pass.” According to Brian Tracy, one of my favorites and Eckhart Tolle, these four words are the ANSWER to HOW TO cope with, accept what is happening NOW.

Building Your Best Life is about being able to be happy with who you are, what you want, why you want it and how to achieve it.

What is your IT?

Being able to identify and really know your WHY you want what you want is a major key to being able to achieve your dreams. Being present to the NOW and what is, with complete acceptance is the KEY to being open, receptive and coming into the attractive vibration of your desires. The power of the words you choose to identify what you want really matters.

Defining your vision, with powerful words, images and passionate desire is what makes the difference. Being able to hold that powerful intention is sometimes where our greatest challenges are experienced.

So, when you are faced with any challenges or changes that feels out of place, out of character for your grand vision, stop… and be still with THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Being able to take this position will ground you, allow you to center and refocus on your desires.

I am being reminded each day of the WHAT IS and being with how life feels right now. With so much external challenges, changes and constant influx of ‘the sky is falling’ keeps me on my toes. Learning to be with silence, shutting out the media blitz and taking great care in what kind of conversations, communication and connection I am engaged in is making the biggest difference.

How about you? Are you managing your input, guarding the gates, being mindful of holding the vision that keeps you on track with your own personal journey of living with passion and purpose.

Building Your Best Life is a supportive partnership for holding your vision with you, for you. If you are not clearly defined in your life path vision, that too is one of the major processes of being fully supported in that knowing what holds your heart and keeps you on track.

So, when situations and circumstances come in to pull you aside, off track and questioning your journey, it is time to stop, to listen closely and take the time to go inside, from within, to revitalize your hearts desire.

Remember, the power of your words, what you say is what you get… so affirm your intention, hold your vision, keep mindful of your desires and allow THIS TOO SHALL PASS to be the grounding that will keep you going, on track, and when you want and need support you deserve, reach out and ask for help to keep you going.

Building Your Best Life… What you will receive is one-on-one coaching. I do have the experience of having taken this journey for over thirty years, and I can help you. I have my own personal coaching, connection and communication that helps you be the BEST you can be, and already are.

ask your questions and get the support you want and deserve.
Until next time,
Veronica

Because I Believe in YOU..

Memories are made of this. I remember that song. Do you?

Today marks some significant memories and reminders in my own life journey.

It marks the most special day in my life that we all cherish… that wedding day. A day of love and celebration of two hearts joined with promise. That dream and promise lasted for a few short years, the union a few more years without the celebration and promise. But the memory of those times remains and reminds me of when my heart was young, vulnerable and pliable.

Today marks the day when as the promises no longer were being celebrated, but were being acknowledged as over. My ex signed the divorce papers on the anniversary date and handed them to me saying Happy Anniversary sweetheart… That memory will always be with me for he had broken my heart and I his. Our promises to each other had not been honored. Our friendship had come to pass.

For ‘this too shall pass.’ Reminders that change is with us, at all times.

Today also marks the birth date of my favorite uncle. My Dad’s brother, Frank Herring, who was one of the most optimistic and fun guys anyone would ever want to meet, much less have as a major influencing factor in my life. Today I am reminded of his birthdate and I take this time to honor him as he passed from this plane last week. Out of the six brothers there is one that remains, the youngest, another great friend and uncle…Jimmy. A generation of brothers that have given and shared every life lesson for faith hope and family first. Salude amore.

We each have dates that are significant milestones along our life journey, reminders of times when we were happy, optimistic and rooted in our dreams. What makes these memories great is that as we work toward future dreams we can use the feelings we once had with purpose, as anchors to fuel the thoughts and feelings of how did it, does it feel to have our dreams come alive and into our lives. What powerful tools we have from within to ignite the fires within our hearts.

What dates, memories and reminders do you have that ignite your dreams?

I am celebrating the passing from my entreprenuerial journey as Rhonee, The Feng Shui Queen into a phase of passage, semi-retired, writing my book and preparing to bring you another special phase for visioning, live design and planning; the construction phase of rebuilding firm foundations, strong structures, powerful tools and tricks of the trade of architecture. Architecture for life, the business of building a better life.

www.BUILDingYourBestLife.com is emerging slowly as I take the time and follow my heart through insight and healing of transformation. You might say recycling the old. Take the parts and pieces from the graveyard of yesteryear and making them new again, in new form. Fashioning new and more creative ways of Being into more pliable and flexible experiences that will fit better and serve more.

Come on along… for the journey… My journey of passion and purpose as Phoenix Rising.

Direct from Daily OM…

Hi and welcome back,

I don’t know about you but I have been feeling OFF for a time now. Today I ran away from home… well, even that is one of the hardest words for me to use. I don’t have my own home anymore… this economy thing hits home in more ways than one.

Does a 6 hours on the road constitute a ‘vacation’?

I arrived after my day of cruising through the mountains in SW Idaho, into Oregon, a nice 6 hour round trip, less than a tank of gas and dinner to cap it off. A $30 vacation… today that is as much as I can do… and refreshed, inspired and ready to get back to my writing.

Writing a book and a blog – several in fact… too much so you will see some changes coming.

I could not have said it better or more appropriately. Thank you to Daily OM… could not be more RIGHT ON… it’s not just me.

“Taking a Time Out
You Are Not Crazy
Most of us feel a little crazy from time to time. Periods of high stress can make us feel like we’re losing it, as can being surrounded by people whose values are very different from our own. Losing a significant relationship and moving into a new life situation are other events that can cause us to feel off kilter. Circumstances like these recur in our lives, and they naturally affect our mental stability. The symptoms of our state of mind can range from having no recollection of putting our car keys where we eventually find them, to wondering if we’re seeing things clearly when everyone around us seems to be in denial of what’s going on right in front of their eyes. For most of us, the key to survival at times like these is to step back, take a deep breath, and regain our composure. Then we can decide what course of action to take.

Sometimes a time-out does the trick. We take a day off from whatever is making us feel crazy and, like magic, we feel in our right mind again. Talking to an objective friend can also help. We begin to see what it is about the situation that destabilizes us, and we can make changes from there. At other times, if the situation is particularly sticky, we may need to seek professional help. Meeting with someone who understands the way the human mind reacts to stress, loss, and difficulty can make us feel less alone and more supported. A therapist or a spiritual counselor can give us techniques that help bring us back to a sane state of mind so that we can affect useful changes. They can also mirror our basic goodness, helping us to see that we are actually okay.

The main purpose of the wake-up call that feeling crazy provides is to let us know that something in our lives is out of balance. Confirm for yourself that you are capable of creating a sane and peaceful reality for yourself. Try to remember that most people have felt, at one time or another, that they are losing it. You deserve a life that helps you thrive. Try and take some steps today to help you achieve more balance and a little less crazy.”

I am human too.

A mountain drive was my healing process for today… Mother Nature has a wonderful way of bringing forth the perfect remedy.

Until next time, take care of yourself…
